Trinity Park appoints new Commercial Manager

Trinity Park Events Ltd, the commercial trading arm of the Suffolk Agricultural Association has appointed Christine Bond MBA as its new commercial manager charged with building the hospitality and events side of the business for its RIBA award-winning Conference and Events Centre.

No stranger to the hospitality and retail sector, following graduation in Hotel and Catering Management, Christine began her career in the hotel industry working for leading brands including Hilton and Thistle before embarking on a 15 year role as commercial director for the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (RSA) in London. 

Her role included strategic management of the commercial activities as well as facilities management of the charity’s Grade I listed building. As part of the Executive Team she was involved in the charity’s strategic development, including programme development, marketing, fundraising and fellowship services. She successfully built a profitable commercial hospitality business from scratch generating net contribution to the charity’s income. 

From 2005-2008 she was commercial director of Churchill Conferences Ltd, based at the Cambridge college, responsible for strategic management of hospitality service. In three years she implemented a business plan that resulted in sales growth in new markets to offset the costs of running the College’s estate.
