University College Suffolk student's plan their own conference at Trinity Park
University College Suffolk students are planning a conference at Trinity Park Conference and Events Centre next January called The Digital Economy. As part of their Events, Tourism and Leisure Management degree course, students must organise an event from conception and planning through to implementation. The students are reponsible for all aspects of organising an event including developing an event strategy, devising the content of the conference, briefing designers, gaining sponsorship and identifying and inviting speakers and delegates.
As a key sponsor of the event, Trinity Park Events, continues to contribute to the Suffolk Agricultural Association's charitable objectives, and is delighted to be working with the University for the first time and supporting local students in the community.
Trinity Park gave students the opportunity to get some early practice when they helped register delegates at a recent Chartered Institute of Marketing conference at the Centre. Pictured left are University students with Graham Thurston, Trinity Park Events Manager.
