Irelands Charity Ball

4th April 2020

Ireland Ava was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma (a rare childhood cancer) in July 2019. She had cancer in her skull, eye, neck, lymph nodes, stomach, legs & cervix. Since diagnosis she has had induction chemotherapy, undergone a 12 hour operation to remove some of the tumour from her stomach, more chemotherapy, another 4 hour operation to fix her bowel, and more chemotherapy... this is without her spending most of her time in hospital due to being so poorly. She is currently waiting to recieve high dose chemotherapy, radiotherapy & immunotherapy. The reason for us trying to raise £230,000 is because with neuroblastoma the relapse rate after remission is very high, so we are raising this money so she can receive potentially life saving treatment in New York, USA. The treatment will hopefully then stop her from relapsing and be cancer free so she can live a long, happy life like she deserves. We want our beautiful, happy, cheeky girl to be healthy & happy once and for all.
