Skills on Show

02 October 2018 | Abi Southworth

Trinity Park will host the Suffolk Skills Show on Wednesday 17th October.  This major employer led skills and careers event for the county will attract some 5,000 young people to talk to employers and education providers about the opportunities available to them in the county.  The Show offers young people the chance to work out which careers are of interest and find out the best route to get the right skills for the job.

The Suffolk Agricultural Association is committed to promoting career opportunities in the rural economy and is pleased to support the Marquee for Rural Skills at the Suffolk Skills Show which is also supported and run by Easton & Otley College.

The Agricultural Sciences and Food Sector is an important part of Suffolk’s economy, worth over £400 million, and includes everything from ‘field to fork’ to growing, production, processing, packaging, distribution, festivals and tourism.
